Come and stay in one of our very own Amazing Spaces
Back to latest postsWith filming for the third series of Channel Four’s ‘George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces’ already underway, the nation’s passion for converting quirky vehicles, sheds and spaces into stunning accommodation shows no sign of abating.
And if you’ve ever wanted to stay in one of these kinds of places, then here’s your chance!
We’ve pulled together four of our best amazing spaces holiday cottages:
The Corn Bin, Sedlescombe, East Sussex
This intriguing property started life as a corn bin! And better still, it’s in an incredible location: a private airfield with acres of rolling countryside to enjoy.
Chat to visiting pilots, watch the aircraft come and go but also enjoy the peace and tranquillity of a very rural setting.
Sleeping 4, it has stunning views and comes complete with modern amenities, including a flat screen TV and Wi-Fi.
Prices start from £274 for a 7 night stay.

The Prince Regent, Bodiam, East Sussex
This stunning 1894 showman's carriage has been carefully refurbished to provide an accurate portrayal of its original finery. This self-catering holiday accommodation for two is nestled in a lovely quiet position, with amazing views and is perfect for exploring the countryside.
There are three separate areas to The Prince Regent: the bedroom and sitting area inside the carriage; the contemporary shower room with basin and WC and the fabulous thatched kitchen with picture window.
The sitting area on the decking looks out on the most beautiful view of Bodiam Castle and the carriage comes complete with a flat screen TV and plenty of DVDs.
Prices start from £335 for a 7 night stay.
The Shepherd’s Huts, Danehill, East Sussex
A popular vehicle for conversion, these huts were originally used in the 19th and 20th century by shepherds during sheep raising and lambing.
And with fabulous wooden floors, wood burning stoves and wonderful views, these Shepherd’s Huts in Danehill are just perfect for those needing a bit of space away from the world…
Sleeping 4 in two huts and overlooking the South Downs, the newly renovated huts are just a short drive from both the Ashdown Forest, home of Winnie the Pooh and the historic town of Lewes.
Prices start from £380 for a 7 night stay.

Oscar Railway Carriage, Cloughton, North York Moors
Located at the privately owned Cloughton Station on the former Scarborough to Whitby railway line, the rather quirky ‘Oscar’ is a 1962 Derby built Mk 1 railway carriage, standing on its original track bed alongside the old platform, within its own private grounds.
It’s just a mile from the coast and right on the doorstep of the North York Moors national park.
Fully refurbished, air conditioned and heated, this four star luxury camping coach sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms and features a 19 ft lounge area with flat screen TV and Wi-Fi.
Prices start from £434 for a 7 night stay.
