If you are dreaming of a White Christmas this festive season, then you might just find it here in one of these stunning new cottages in Fife, Scotland.

Set in the glorious Fife countryside, just ten miles from St Andrews and five miles from Dundee, Baillie Scott and Valentines are two luxury, 5 star self-catering cottages which are part of Sandford House, a 'B' Listed Arts and Crafts House designed by Mackay Hugh Baillie Scott around 1902.

Baillie Scott Cottage is a two bedroomed cottage, named after the architect Mackay Hugh Baillie Scott who designed Sandford back in 1902.

Renovated in the Arts & Crafts style, with solid oak beams, posts and flooring, Baillie Scott is situated at the gable end of the holiday homes wing with stunning views over the Fife countryside from the French doors.

Features include a private, south facing terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue; cosy open plan living; a wood burning stove; TV with Freeview; DVD player and iPod dock.

The newly fitted kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine.

Sleeping 4 in two ensuite bedrooms, prices start from £650 for a 7 night stay.

Valentines Cottage is a two bedroomed cottage, named after Harben J Valentine, who commissioned MH Baillie Scott to design ‘Sandford Cottage’ as the house was known in 1902.

Also renovated in the arts & crafts style with solid oak beams, posts and flooring, Valentines is situated in the middle of the holiday homes wing, with lovely views over the back garden and also a back door out onto the garden.

Features include a private, south/east facing terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue; cosy open plan living; a wood burning stove; TV with Freeview; DVD player and Bluetooth speaker that works with most phones and iPads.

Sleeping 4 in two ensuite bedrooms, prices start from £600 for a 7 night stay.

The cottages are located in the west wing of Sandford House and each cottage has its own entrance door and patio area, with all cottages sharing a large, grassy wooded area suitable for picnics, walking and relaxing.

Just two of many fantastic holiday cottages in Scotland.
