6 occasions to justify a 2 night break with a hot tub
Back to latest postsThere have been numerous reports throughout 2017 that people in the UK are choosing lots of short breaks in preference over choosing longer two week holidays.
This is a trend that we have seen reflected in our bookings at Holiday Cottage Compare, as we’re finding more people booking two night breaks for a whole host of reasons.
If you’re considering a short break in a holiday cottage in the new year, or at any time of the year for that matter, what could be better than two nights away somewhere with your own hot tub?
You’re probably already convinced (really, who needs an excuse for a bit of relaxation?!) but just in case you need a way to justify some luxury, here are some fantastic occasions that you can use to explain away your 2 night hot tub break:
Birthday breaks
It’s your birthday! Or someone else’s. It doesn’t really matter whose – a birthday is always a time for celebration and a weekend away is a great way to make it special. Treat yourself or someone else – relaxing in a hot tub with a glass of bubbly is perfect for making a birthday extra memorable.
Anniversary breaks
Romance today can be achieved just by simply spending some quality time together. Take away the television, the chance of someone else popping round and your mobile phones (except to take a quick photo!) and by relaxing in a hot tub - just the two of you, is a perfect way to mark your anniversary.
In our opinion it doesn’t have to be a wedding anniversary either. Surprise your other half by remembering the date of your first date or even your first kiss, by booking a romantic 2 night break.
New job celebrations
Landing a new job is very exciting but it can also be pretty stressful. Getting through the all-important interview stage is the first hurdle, then the second is usually handing in your notice. Once that’s out of the way, take some well-deserved time to relax before you start your new job with a 2 night break in a cottage with a hot tub!
Hen do holidays
Hen dos and stag dos alike often last for two nights and are booked well in advance of the wedding itself, to avoid nasty hangovers and the potential of having no eyebrows in your wedding photos.
A 2 night break in a large cottage with a hot tub gives you the opportunity to relax as well as to plan other activities around where you are staying. And remember, chilling in a hot tub is likely to be suitable to anyone you wish to invite!
Christmas holiday cottage breaks
Imagine finishing Christmas day with a glass of mulled wine, Baileys - or if you’ve had enough by then – sparkling water, whilst relaxing in a hot tub. From spending quality time with your family members, to just relaxing after finishing the washing up, any time during the Christmas break is the perfect time for a 2 night break with a hot tub.
You’ve earnt it
This is our favourite reason at Holiday Cottage Compare. In our opinion, you shouldn’t need an excuse to justify treating yourself to a holiday with a hot tub.
We’re often so busy rushing around with every day life that we forget to properly sit back and relax. For us, a 2 night break in a lovely holiday cottage setting, sat back in a hot tub, is all you need to unwind and recharge. After all we bet you deserve a break – and have earnt it. If you agree, we highly recommend trying it out.
