One of three Primrose Farm cottages that visitors can hire, this stone barn has been lovingly converted to offer accommodation for groups of up to four people. For the chilly winter months, Greenfields has been installed with under-floor heating, while a raised deck area provides ample opportunity for al fresco dining in the summer months. It is an end-of-terrace cottage and has been delightfully decorated throughout. There is off-road parking for up to 2 cars, and the local pub is just over a mile away. More details...

Location
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
Upottery is a pretty village, situated in the heart of the Blackdown Hills. The surrounding area has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers excellent opportunities for bird watching, riverside walks and spotting wildlife. The village takes its name from the River Otter which runs a stone’s throw from the village and also lends its name to a local beer. Upottery won the ‘Best Kept Village in Devon’ in 2006 and has maintained the standards that won it that title. Thirteen miles away, you can find the fossil beaches of Lyme Regis and Charmouth, part of the West Country’s Jurassic Coast. The town of Honiton is just five miles away, whilst the Cathedral City of Exeter is a 20-minute drive. Exeter has all the amenities you would expect from any city, including a fantastic shopping centre and a broad range of bars and restaurants to choose from. Exeter also shows evidence of its Roman origins, sporting Roman walls throughout.
