Location

This is one of five lovely holiday barns which nestle into the mature trees around the pond and water feature to create a peaceful little environment to relax in.

Each barn has its own enclosed garden area with a patio, BBQ and seating for eating outside and there is also a lovely communal decked area overlooking the pond for when you feel sociable or just want to enjoy the sunset.

The meadow is down a pretty country lane just outside the little Suffolk village of Stonham Aspal.

There are lovely walks and cycling straight from the barns and the pretty Suffolk coast is just 30 minutes away.

Set in two acres in all, we are down a country lane on the outskirts of Stonham Aspal, along the A1120 ‘Suffolk Tourist Route’

We are blessed with some of the best countryside this country has to offer. We have great walks in Suffolk, starting right from our door!

We are right in the heart of Suffolk so everything is pretty much within half an hour of us, including the fabulous heritage coast with the ever-popular Aldeburgh, Southwold, Walberswick, Woodbridge, Dunwich, Orford and Minsmere

We have cosy pubs, restaurants, delis, coffee shops & country stores in beautiful villages and towns, as well as museums and a wealth of tourist attractions to suit everyone.

Named after the river Gipping winding its way through nearby Aldeburgh, is a traditional style Suffolk barn with black weatherboarding and massive oak trusses and beams and oak flooring.

The property has a living area with separate kitchen and bathroom downstairs with a mezzanine bedroom upstairs.

You enter into a farmhouse style kitchen with a pretty antique farm table next to the stable door entrance so that in fine weather you can open up the door for a lovely airy start to the day.

The fully equipped kitchen is well laid out with ample work surface, welsh dresser, a kitchen Range cooker, Belfast sink, microwave and fridge.

There is a separate area with laundry facilities.

The kitchen area leads through to an intimate living area with a comfy sofa and lovely Clearview log burning fire, TV/DVD/CD player and iPod docking station. Bikes are also available FREE of charge!

The room has a high vaulted ceiling showing off the massive oak beams and a handmade timber staircase that leads up to a charming mezzanine bedroom. A travel cot is available for the little one.

There is a well organised bathroom with a good sized shower on the ground floor.

The garden room overlooks your own private garden. Whilst the barn sleeps two, the hot tub is big enough for four so you can really spread out and get away from it all!

The barn is ‘dog-friendly’ with a private, enclosed garden, as are all of our cosy, romantic cottages. We normally accept one or two dogs but we’re happy to discuss another with you. We even leave a dog treat as well as a delicious local breakfast basket for the humans!

There is ample off road parking.
