This divine thatched cottage is set in the historic sleepy village of Stanford-in-the-Vale overlooking the village green and walking distance to a great little local pub. Upon arrival you are welcomed by a pretty white cottage with thatched roof and roses growing up the outside. This holiday cottage consists of three bedrooms, 2 doubles and one single. This full of character and charm cottage has two log burning fires, perfect for chilly evenings and coming home to after a long day exploring the Cotswolds.
Vale Cottage is in an ideal location. Not only is it only 45 minutes on a direct train from London Paddington, it is 15 miles away from Oxford and Bath is within an hours drive. The cottage is situated in a pretty village and within walking distance of a cafe, pub and village shop. You can spend the day exploring National Trust houses, including Highgrove House and Batsford and Westonbirt Arboretumsor or why not have some fun at The Cotswolds Water Park.
