Dovedale and the well-known village of Hartington are within easy driving distance and are both pleasant places to spend an afternoon. The whole area is a full of walking, cycling and horse riding opportunities whilst Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are both within a 20 minute drive. Alternatively, visitors can enjoy a little excitement with the famous Alton Towers theme park within easy reach.
