Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Once home to smugglers, this quaint little fishing village is now popular amongst tourists and holidaymakers who come to enjoy the picturesque harbour and sandy beaches of nearby Seahouses. At just over a mile away, Seahouses provides the village with the majority of its amenities, such as supermarkets, restaurants and shops, though there is a small store in Beadnell itself. Seahouses also offers trips from the scenic harbour to the nearby Farne Islands, popular with wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers. Vibrant Bamburgh and historic Alnwick are close by with the latter playing host to a magnificentcastle and gardens, used as part of the set in the well-known Harry Potter films.
