Morecombe Bay also offers great opportunities for wildlife spotting and is one of the reasons that the area is famous for birdwatching. Other locations with an hour's drive include the villages of Silverdale and Arnside, which overlook the beautiful Kent Estuary as well as the villages of Ingleton, Settle and Clapham.
