Location
A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.
The village itself is home to a plethora of shops and chocolate-box style cottages, as well as plenty of pubs and restaurants serving up anything from a light snack to a full-blown Sunday roast. There's much history to be seen in the area too including a Prior built in the 1100's, a Norman church and even the village’s old Gaol House. The popular towns of Bridgnorth and the foodie paradise of Ludlow are nearby. Much Wenlock is a great place to base yourself and family if you want to explore all that this part of Shropshire has to offer.
