The charming, unspoiled village of Staintondale is on the edge of the North York Moors yet only a mile away from the coast. Staintondale has a post office and general store that offers a range of amenities and a tea-room. There is a Shire Horse Centre just outside the village and for something a little different why not try llama trekking or husky trekking, both available close to the village. With a network of footpaths and bridleways, the area has a lot to offer walkers and for other attractions and amenities Staintondale is within easy reach of Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay. With its fascinating historical past and accessibility to coast and countryside this area is the perfect base for a varied and enjoyable holiday.
