As the birthplace of the English playwright and poet, William Shakespeare, this is a popular tourist destination and is home to the world famous Royal Shakespeare company. The bard's birthplace and other houses connected to his family are open all year round, giving visitors a great idea of what life in Tudor England was like. Bordered by beautifully landscaped parks, the river Avon itself is a hive of activity throughout summer months. With cruises, rowing and motor-boat rides, this waterway can by enjoyed by everyone. With Warwick and the Cotswold villages of Stow-on-the-Wold nearby, Stratford is a great base from which to explore the rest of this charming region.

All ground floor. One double bedroom with TV and en-suite bathroom (down two deep steps) with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.
