Location

Bluecoats is based in one of the prettiest villages in the Weald of Kent, with charming period cottages overlooking a village pond with a fountain and friendly ducks. The winding village high street leads up to the 12th century St Mary’s Church and overlooks excellent village shops, tearooms, restaurants , pubs and antique shops. Eat your heart out walkers as this village is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside and you can enjoy many walks onto Scotney Castle estate or into Finchcocks, a fine Georgian manor house, The white cowls of Finchcocks Oast are clearly visible in the distance as you head downhill out of Goudhurst.
