Location

With many quaint, seaside and market towns, historic sites and miles of glorious coastline to explore, Sussex has it all for a great holiday destination.

The village of Beckley, dating back to the 1700s, sits in the Sussex countryside, and has enjoyed a varied past, including heavy involvement with ironworks and forestry. Beckley remains a quintessential English village with local shops, churches and a village hall staging events throughout the year, with race nights, craft fairs and even an amateur theatre group all taking their turn. Popular for its beautiful woodland and their numerous walks, the River Rother also runs close by and is great for a summer stroll or a picnic on the riverbank.
