It has so much to offer the holiday-maker including the Canterbury Cathedral and St Augustine’s Abbey, both of which have been designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and both are well worth a visit during your stay in Kent. A whole day can be spent just exploring the Canterbury Cathedral, Crypt and Cloisters.

You can imagine this home having been here for hundreds of years, with horse and cart going past the house en-route to historic Canterbury. Immediately on your doorstep you will find various interior shops as well as places for a bite to eat. The city wall, Canterbury Castle and Dane John Gardens are all a short walk from the cottage. If arriving by train at Canterbury East, an easy walk along the footpath next to the main road will bring you to the cottage in 5 minutes. An ideal property to rent in Canterbury.

For days out, Chilham is only a 10 minutes drive away and is ideal for country walks, afternoon tea and admiring Chilham Castle.
Take a short walk into town and enjoy a true city break. Also on your doorstep you can explore the surrounding countryside on foot or bike. A good combination for a city break.
