This brand new barn conversion nestles alongside the original farmhouse and in the same complex as some other lovely holiday cottages. It’s located in a peaceful and attractive setting in 22 acres of farmland. Kersey Cottage provides the perfect retreat for couples – a well-appointed barn offering a wealth of activities from tennis to swimming in the indoor pool; a cycle store for your bikes, flat countryside with umpteen cycle and foot paths to explore, all set in the one of the prettiest regions of the country.
Kersey Cottage is well laid out, plenty of room for two with the most romantic mezzanine where you’ll find a lovely four poster bed. If you need supplies, there’s a small shop selling all sorts of goodies including a great selection of home prepared meals. You can even pre-order a welcome breakfast or a lunch hamper stuffed with delicious local delights for those picnic adventures.
The working farm is home to a range of animals, chickens are busy scratching for food, lambs skip in the fields in Spring, it really is idyllic – and all just a stone’s throw from the charming market town of Sudbury, where you’ll find some excellent local pubs and restaurants. All this can be yours, and just an hour and a half from London.
