The cottage offers two bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor, and each with the option of being a king-size double or a twin room. There is also a ground floor bathroom with a freestanding stone bath, a kitchen, a dining are and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside, the patio enjoys views of the surrounding countryside to the sea, furniture, a fire pit and a barbecue, a wonderful spot to spend warm summer evenings. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

The village of Hawsker is half way between Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay on the North Yorkshire coast. This small village has a local pub which serves food and is close to the Cleveland Way. Just a couple of miles to the south is the quaint fishing village of Robin Hoods Bay with its steeply sloping main street and numerous craft shops, whilst to the north is the famous abbey town of Whitby with its glorious harbour, sandy beaches and fantastic fish and chip restaurants.

Mostly ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double (zip/link, can be 2'6" twin), 1 x first floor twin (zip/link, can be king-size double). Bathroom with freestanding bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove.

Note: There is a cobbled path and 3 steps to the front door and inside, stairs to first floor are alternating tread stairs and steep. Note: Cottage is on the A171.
