Location
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
Set along the banks of the tidal River Ffraw in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is the historic seaside village of Aberffraw. As part of the Heritage Coast of Anglesey, this wonderful little village holds an exalted place in Welsh history and is known as ‘the Land of the Prince of Wales' due to its ancient position as the Capital of North Wales between the 9th and 13th Centuries. The village still retains much of its old-world charm and is home to the Church of St Beuno and a picturesque pack horse bridge. There are also a number of craft shops and tea rooms, a charming village pub and a beautiful white sandy beach from which visitors can enjoy views of the stunning Snowdonia mountain range. Newborough Warren and Malltraeth Pool nature reserves are also close by and make interesting places to visit for bird watchers or animal lovers.
