How about a quirky and fun holiday that the children and adults alike will beg to return to? This is not just a run of the mill cottage affair, it’s camping with bells on. With five brilliantly kitted out canvas tents with cosy wood burners, you and your friends or large family will have their own space but all come together for those catered group pizza evenings, barbeque heaven or curry nights on request. With an honesty bar and games on offer, there’s lots of fun to be had. Or simply chill out and watch a film on the big screen in the communal barn.

The Constellations creates a wonderful backdrop to a memorable week or weekend away. The five individual tents have two bedrooms each, one with a double, one with twin beds. The communal barn has lovely butler sink basins, private shower rooms (for each tent) with underfloor heating plus a massive room for meals, chilling out and a good catch up.

Located on a farm with lots of space and animals to meet, what could be better, you can even bring up to 2 well behaved dogs so no one needs to be left behind. The countryside is idyllic – situated between the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons, so exploring by foot or bike is a great option. There are many excellent pubs in the area with good local produce so quite tempting to try a few.

Imagine an African safari near Hay on Wye and there you have it, a total experience; but instead of lions and zebra, you’ll see an abundance of farm animals. And if you feel like it, join in the animal feeding and take part in activities such as apple picking and veg growing. Bring your own marshmallows for roasting on the campfire, with clear nights that show you the thousands of pin prick stars decorating the sky.
