Newick is a medium-sized, pretty village situated in the heart of Sussex, on the A272 in the Low Weald of East Sussex, almost mid-way between the busy towns of Haywards Heath and Uckfield. At the centre of the village is the village green, which is surrounded by local shops including a chemist, grocery store with Post Office and a baker’s shop where the bread is baked daily and there is always a queue for their delicious pies, cakes and sandwiches. Newick, a lovely Sussex village with a huge welcome.
