Location

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Pwllheli is often referred to as the unofficial capital of the Lleyn Peninsula. The area is famous for its scenery, superb coastal walks and wonderful beaches. Pwllheli itself is a bustling town, with many shops, pubs and restaurants. The marina can also hold over 400 boats. There are two beaches in Pwllheli - South Beach and Glan-y-Mor. South Beach has been awarded a Blue Flag Award. Only six miles away is Abersoch, a lovely town with an impressive harbour, beaches and watersports. Also close by is Criccieth, with a visit to the town's Castle is essential for magnificent views. A large amount of the peninsula is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a lot of the coastline, with sandy beaches and breathtaking cliff tops,is owned by the National Trust. Further afield, are Snowdonia, Bardsey Island and Anglesey. This magnificent part of Wales is wonderful for exploring and relaxing.
