In an idyllic position, surrounded by rolling Sussex countryside, leading down to lush woodland and lakes, this quaint converted detached stable is just the place to escape to and unwind.

This characterful cottage with beamed ceilings and open plan living area really is the perfect hideaway, with a cosy log burner for winters evening, and a private garden to make the most of outdoor dining on those warmer days and admire the best of the views across the surrounding countryside.

Stable Cottage is in the ideal location for exploring this pretty part of Sussex, enjoying not just the picturesque coastline with Winchelsea Beach within a 10 minute drive and the historic cobbled streets of Rye just 5 minutes further, but miles of green countryside on your doorstep with a choice of walking routes including the 1066 route which leads from the cottage all the way to Battle. For those looking to enjoy a spot of fishing, one of two of the owners lakes is the ideal spot, with carp waiting to be caught.
