The internationally renowned Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve is just one mile away and makes a great day out whether you're an enthusiastic birdwatcher or a complete novice. Guided walks across the Kent Estuary are available and show the full shore and surrounding area. The Lake District, Lune Valley, Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland are all within easy driving distance.
