Overlooking the Moray Firth, the town of Buckie lies on the north east coast of Scotland. It has shops and pubs and is a base from which to explore this part of Scotland. Boat trips leave from Buckie and further along the coast to Macduff, which offer the chance to see dolphins and sea birds. To the west of the town, Spey Bay is the base for the Scottish Dolphin Centre and is also a place from which to spot dolphins and seals! From Buckie the coastline is peppered with fishing villages and beaches. Pack a picnic, drive to the Loch Ness and enjoy a stroll along its shoreline, or explore the historic city of Elgin, a short drive away. There is so much to see and do from this wonderful little seaside town.
