Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Belford is a lovely Northumbrian village midway between Berwick-upon-Tweed and the historic town of Alnwick. Belford is an old coaching village with an attractive square and a variety of restaurants and public houses. There are a couple of local stores and other shops sell local crafts and gifts to visitors. For keen golfers there is a nine-hole golf course, offering excellent facilities. Five miles away is Bamburgh with its dramatic castle and sandy beaches.
