Little Dewchurch is a village near the Wye Valley in Herefordshire, a stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Settled between the towns of Hereford and Ross-on-Wye, the village has a shop and a pub, as well as being a wonderful base for exploring the beautiful, surrounding countryside. Whether it be on foot, on a bike ride, or even in the car, the area is full of opportunities for brilliant days out. Visit the city of Hereford, home of the Mappa Mundi, the largest and most elaborate pre-15th century map in existence, which resides in the cathedral alongside the famous Chained Library, which houses a collection of over 1500 rare books from as early as the 8th century. A few miles south you can visit The Forest of Dean, or venture East to the Malvern Hills, another area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are so many wonderful things to do in the surrounding area that it definitely makes a wonderful base for a holiday!
