The Cabin is perched high above the Conwy Valley, with the most glorious views of Snowdonia.

Equipped with everything you need for the perfect hideaway stay, inside and out and even has a decked, heated veranda with lighting, table and chairs, and an outdoor hot tub. The setting is perfect. Sheltered and sunny (the sunsets over the mountains are incredible), it commands a ridge-topped by ancient woodlands and laced with winding lanes and tracks.

There’s even a hidden lake nearby for you to discover. Lie back and let its natural beauty overtake you. Or step out and go exploring for miles. The Cabin is warm and cosy, even in the wildest winter weather (a wonderful time to stay). In summer, it’s delightfully light and airy. We’ve thought of everything in terms of facilities. A brilliant king-sized bed, luxurious bathroom with lashings of hot water, fully equipped kitchen, DVD player and stereo, with a library of discs.

Imagine enjoying a hot tub as you watch buzzards and kestrels wheel overhead, framed by spectacular mountains. The Cabin’s outdoor tub is kept at a constant 37°C (body temperature) every day of the year. Just try it in the snow – an incredibly satisfying experience.

It’s most unlikely you will see anyone else when you stay at The Cabin. Except maybe a shepherd tending his flock in the surrounding hills. We even decided not to install a telephone. But your mobile should work – if you decide to turn it on. When you stay at the The Cabin, the choice is entirely yours. Go to bed when you want. Get up when you choose. Eat and drink whenever you feel like it. Stay in and luxuriate in total comfort. Go out to eat (you could take all your meals in The Groes Inn if you wanted). Or use it as your base for days of outdoor activity.

The Cabin is easy to find. But only if you know the way. We will be delighted to provide you with a map and directions when you check in. But please return them at the end of your stay, so we can keep its secret just between ourselves.
